The Energy Community Secretariat and the European Commission recently held a meeting to discuss the Contracting Parties’ gas undertakings and the last-minute details of joining Aggregate EU, the leading platform for joint procurement. The aim of AggregateEU is to encourage collaboration and shared resources among energy companies, allowing them to leverage economies of scale to drive cost savings and increase efficiency.
Companies intending to participate in the demand placement are encouraged to register on the platform by April 20th. The demand placement will begin on April 25th, and during this initial stage, buyers can submit their specific demands for locations and months.
By collaborating with each other through the AggregateEU platform, energy companies can drive innovation and increase their competitiveness in the marketplace. This move towards joint procurement is a step towards a more sustainable and efficient energy sector, and it is hoped that more companies will join the platform in the future to continue this positive trend.
