When entering into force in 2006, the Treaty establishing the Energy Community made explicite reference to 11 legal acts only. Today the scope of the Energy Community acquis is more than double.
To stay on track with the evolution of European Union law, Articles 24 and 25 of the Treaty allow the adaptation of the acquis communautaire and implementing of possible amendments. As a result, new acquis has been adopted, whilst other has been replaced by newer, more comprehensive acts. As a rule, such adaptations are endorsed in the form of a Energy Community Ministerial Council Decision.
This page displays the repealed Energy Community acquis no longer in force. The publishing date either relates to 1 July 2006 when the Treaty and listed acquis communautaire from Title II entered into force. Alternatively, the publishing day corresponds with the respective Ministerial Council Decision when the act was incorporated into Energy Community acquis.
