With Decision 2022/02/MC-EnC, the Energy Community Ministerial Council adopted the 2030 energy and climate targets on 15 December 2022. These energy and climate headline targets are essential to put the Energy Community Contracting Parties on a path towards achieving climate neutrality of their economies by 2050 and decreasing dependence on fossil fuels in the shorter term.
In case of Ukraine, the ministers shall review the targets and shares at their next meeting after martial law ceases to apply in Ukraine.
