The 11th Ministerial Council endorsed the list of 35 PECIs on 24 October 2013. Fourteen electricity generation, nine electricity infrastructure, ten gas infrastructure and two oil infrastructure projects were selected due to their importance for the development of cross-border energy markets in the region. These PECI projects have been considered to be a priority, to have a regional impact, to contribute to security of supply, to generation adequacy, to contribute to the targets for renewable energy.
