summary of the case

status: closed in preliminary procedure (Art.91) /

registered: ex officio 2011

In Case ECS-10/11, the Secretariat challenged the practice by the TSO of Montenegro to give priority, in the allocation procedure, to suppliers to domestic customers over “transitters”, i.e. users of the transmission network for the purpose of electricity transits through Montenegro.

Following the adoption of new Allocation Rules for the year 2012, that allow allocating capacity on electricity interconnectors in a non-discriminatory manner, the Secretariat closed Case ECS-10/11 on 1 September 2012.
