Integrated national energy and climate progress reports (NECPRs)
National Energy and Climate Plan Reporting
National Energy and Climate Plan Reports (NECPRs) provide the basis for assessing progress towards the 2030 energy and climate targets and the Energy Community’s climate-neutrality objective. Every two years, by 15 March, Contracting Parties are required to report on the implementation of their NECPs, covering all five dimensions of the Energy Union. The Energy Community Secretariat assesses the submissions to track progress against the trajectories towards the 2030 targets and evaluate the implementation of the policies and measures set out in the NECPs.
Reporting Systems
Contracting Parties submit data and information through two online reporting systems:
- Reportnet 3.0 – Managed by the European Environment Agency (EEA), this platform collects climate-related and certain energy-related information. The EEA supports Contracting Parties in their reporting and assists the Secretariat in collecting and verifying the data.
- Policy Reporting Platform – This platform collects energy-related data and information not covered by Reportnet 3.0. The Secretariat supports timely submissions and carries out quality control.
