Vacancy: Electricity Distribution System Expert at the Energy Community Secretariat

The Energy Community Secretariat has launched a call for applications for the position of Electricity Distribution System Expert, based in Vienna, Austria.

The role focuses on supporting the implementation of EU electricity distribution legislation, strengthening the role of distribution system operators, and advancing competitive and consumer-centred electricity markets across the Energy Community.

Applicants should have a relevant university degree and at least five years of professional experience in the European electricity market, including three years in electricity distribution. The position is offered under a three-year contract, renewable subject to conditions, with a tax-exempt salary of EUR 6,735 per month. The expected start date is May 2026, and applications close on 1 March 2026.
