Transposition verification process
The verification process has been designed for the specific purpose of market coupling to assess whether the EIP has been fully and compliantly incorporated into the national legal framework of the Contracting Parties. The assessment is conducted by the Secretariat and the European Commission, in a two stage process.
TRANSPOSITION COMPLETED
Following the adoption of the legal acts intended to ensure the full transposition of the EIP, the Contracting Party submits to the Secretariat the complete set of adopted national legislation, including translations and concordance tables, together with confirmation that there are no conflicting provisions.
OPINION NOTIFICATION
The Secretariat informs the Contracting Party concerned of the European Commission's opinion by means of a letter transmission.
