20 January 2025

The Energy Community Secretariat is thrilled to announce the 9th edition of the Energy Community Summer School, set to take place from 19 to 26 July 2025 at the Faculty of Maritime Studies, University of Montenegro in Kotor.

The application deadline is 31 March 2025.

Open, or download, the links in the Get More Information at the bottom of this page, for details on the syllabus, applicant criteria, and application process.

Background

Designed for postgraduate students, researchers, and young professionals from diverse energy-related disciplines, the Summer School offers a unique opportunity to explore the technical, economic, political, legal, and sustainability aspects of the energy transition, along with the systems, trading, and geopolitical factors shaping the sector.

The week-long curriculum is complemented by a rich cultural experience, highlighting the unique energy story of Montenegro and the Western Balkans.

Reflecting on the programme’s achievement, Adrian Jasimi, who has organised the Summer School from its inception with dedication and meticulous attention to detail, says:

"The success of the Summer School lies in its ability to unite future energy leaders, encourage diverse perspectives, and inspire lifelong connections. It’s about more than knowledge; it’s about shaping the future of energy together."

The 2024 Summer School, held in Chisinau, Moldova, was yet another remarkable success.

Over the years, the Summer School has become a launchpad for its alumni, many of whom have achieved distinguished roles in business, politics, and academia.

Don’t miss this chance to gain invaluable insights, network with top professionals, and immerse yourself in a transformative experience.
