Industries Outreach Workshop “Procurement opportunities for businesses under the Ukraine Energy Support Fund”
- organised jointly by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and Energy Community Secretariat
- ahead of the Ministerial meeting of the G7+ Ukraine Energy Support Group / Energy Ramstein.
This practical workshop is designed to provide industry representatives and potential suppliers with a comprehensive overview of procurement opportunities under the Ukraine Energy Support Fund (the Fund), managed by the Energy Community Secretariat. The Fund is one of the key international mechanisms supporting resilience, recovery, passive protection, and modernisation of Ukraine's energy system.
The workshop will offer guidance on how companies can engage in procurement processes, financed through the Fund, aiming to strengthen market awareness, encourage broader supplier participation, and facilitate transparent, competitive, and efficient procurement processes supporting Ukraine's energy resilience. Participants of the event will get an overview of:

current energy sector procurement needs under the Fund related to the recovery of Ukraine's energy system and preparation for the 2026/2027 winter operational period, as well as progress made in the recovery efforts, based on the support provided through the Fund
(presentation by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine will presentative);

governing framework of the Fund, along with compliance and safeguard mechanisms, and the role of the Fund in mobilising and managing donors' contributions (over EUR 2 billion)
(presentation by the Energy Community Secretariat representative);

practical guidance on the procurement procedure of the Fund, tender participation, registration and use of the dedicated procurement platform, key compliance requirements, and best procurement practices
(presentation by the representative of the independent procurement agent UTA-Sweco).
