National secondary legislation

Georgia
The Secretariat’s assessment of a Contracting Party’s compliance with the Energy Community acquis goes beyond the mere adoption of primary legislation. In many cases, it is the adoption of secondary legislation that ensures actual implementation. As a newcomer to the Energy Community having acceded only in 2017, the majority of deadlines for the transposition of legal acts still lie ahead.
This page displays the national energy legislation that Georgia has adopted to comply with its Treaty obligations. For each key provision of the Energy Community acquis, the tables below provide the corresponding reference to the national legal act transposing that key provision if adopted and provides other relevant details, such as the state of play of compliance. The national bodies responsible for drafting and adopting the relevant legal act are also displayed.
