In aftermath of Covid-19 crises, the Secretariat’s event management concept largely builds on hybrid events. The changed approach is additionally driven by the Secretariat's commitment to green event management (EMAS).

You find the registration information either from your invitation, or/and from the corresponding event page. With some Energy Community events, the participation is restricted to nominated persons only.

In case you wish to attend an Energy Community event in person, you necessitate a login in order to register. With your login, you can also subscribe for the Secretariat’s document uploads and news items. 

 

About registration options and steps

 

  • Open registration events

    Open registration events

    Most of the Energy Community events are open registration events. In short, everyone is eligible to register.

    On each event page, you will find the registration box. The registration form is accessible via the registration box. The text in the box differs depending if you are logged in or not.

     

    Users with a login

    Should you already have a login, you are invited to type in your logins details. If you are not sure about your account details, you can recover  them from the database at any time. When resetting, please, pay careful attention to the password requirements.

     

    New users

    If you are a new user, you will be asked to fill in your personal data. After having filled in the login form, you will receive an email mail with your login details. As a next step, you should confirm the registration by clicking the verify link in the message. As a result, a new separate email is sent confirming the successful registration.

  • Closed registration events

    Closed registration events

    For some meetings, such as the Permanent High Level Group, ECRB, Task Forces, participation is subject to a nomination. Subsequently only nominated participants have the right to register. This means the participants must have a login and the corresponding group membership. 

    In case you have been nominated, but do not possess a login,

    • please, create yourself an account. You will receive a confirmation message. In order to verify your account, you need to click the link in the message
    • Afterwards, you should send a message to [email protected] and request for a group membership. Please, do not forget to notify which event you wish to attend.
    • After the Secretariat's confirmation on your new group membership, you should login, go the event-page, open the registration form and register.

    Cancellation

    If you are logged in and access the event-page after a successful registration, you will see a changed text in the registration box. The text now indicates that you are registered, allowing the cancellation of your registration. In case of a cancellation, you will again receive a separate message as a confirmation.
     

    Reimbursement

    As of the day of the event, the participants have the possibility to claim for reimbursement. The reimbursement form is accessible via the registration box for the duration of 30 days. The possible reimbursement covers costs related to travelling and accommodation.

    At the same time, reimbursement is not offered for all events. Also the participant’s eligibility is dependent on the organisation he/she represents and the event specific reimbursement rules.
