On 22 April Mr. Petar Skundric, Serbian Minister for Mining and Energy, accompanied by a press team paid a visit to the Secretariat.

In his opening statement, Minister Skundric informed the Secretariat about the newly drafted energy law.

The process of implementation of the Energy Community Treaty, the investment framework in SEE and the congestion management in the region were the focus of discussions.
|
|
Minister Skundric launched an idea for development of a regional energy strategy with a focus on investments, which was welcomed by the Secretariat.
|
|
As a small "Danke schön", Minister Skundric handed Director Neykov a biography of a Serbian inventor, a mechanical and electrical engineer Mr. Nikola Tesla.
|
|
Minister Skundric was accompanied by seven representatives of Serbian media.
|
|
In his statement, Director Neykov reiterated the big projects foreseen for year 2010; accession of Moldova, and extension of the acquis in the area of oil stocks and renewable energy.
