Following the opening debate on the Green Paper that was launched on March 2006, a public hearing on the strategic EU Energy Review took place on 22 September 2006 in Brussels. It is the intention to adopt this document on 10 January 2007.

Next Permanent High Level Group (PHLG) Meeting in Vienna on 8-9 Mar 2006
The next Permanent High Level Group (PHLG) Meeting will take place in Vienna on 8 - 9 March 2006. The PHLG, which has key responsibilities in preparing the work of the Ministerial Council as well as giving assent to technical assistance requests made by Donors, will discuss substantial issues, related to achieving the objectives of the Treaty establishing the Energy Community.
