In addition to the Report on the Implementation of the Acquis under the Treaty, the Secretariat prepared an extraordinary renewables report on the occassion of the 8th PHLG meeting in March 2008.
The report firstly reiterates on the Treaty obligations in the area of renewables. It describes the action undertaken and outlines the steps ahead. In terms of structure, the report takes stock of the implementation process of the two directives. It then assesses the Contracting Parties performance in the light of Kyoto Protocoll obligations.
