Construction of this new 400kV overhead line would permit the establishment of new power corridor in the region and will allow for efficient and high power exchanges, significantly lower regional power losses and mitigate also some electricity network congestions in existing lines. This project is pending the agreement from the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.

The Pre- feasibility study has to be prepared with joint effort of both TSO’s.
Kosovo1 has requested EC IPF facility for technical assistance to undertake the study for this line.
